how often do you think about s5x04 Jubilation Adrien's briefly-shown, forced-to-read-between-the-lines depression nest, and is it every day?
literally what has happened.
well, the obvious twenty-four hours before this episode, yes. the endless night of the first three episodes + the ml special, if to be taken canonically. and obviously that time he saw himself try to kil him and himself. and obviously the guilt of accidentally slowly killing someone else (unknowingly his dad!). and obviously the fact his image is being sold everywhere. and obviously the fact his good friend marinette dupain-cheng isn't free now that he's free a lot more. and the fact ladybug and chat noir have only retrieved one lost miraculous.
did he clean his room himself and then stopped? did nathalie, the one shown to usually wake him up, not notice, or stop during this timeframe? is that his throw up bucket, or just a failed effort at cleaning up? did he order that pizza himself and no one noticed? what are those shopping bags, I wonder? did he try genuinely reading those books or did he angrily topple them from above and then wear himself out? are those towels from showers or just for random spills?
how did it feel going back to that depression nest after the events of this episode?
sometimes i think about how marinette "i'm not a cat person. i'd much rather have a hamster. cats are nothing but trouble" dupain-cheng's bedroom is decorated with cat pillows and cat figures and cat faces all over the place. "i really don't care for cats" sure marinette. you're dating one
